MINING AND METALS SECTOR
We have worked with all of the major metals clients on a global level to provide new installations, upgrades and retrofits across all of the business units within the industry. The results of these projects include improved process control, yield and lower costs.
Project examples include replacement of DCS/PLC control systems on blast furnaces, continuous casters, and basic oxygen furnaces with modern, redundant, integrated architecture control systems. Utilizing the best approach of both DCS/PLC, while providing a single operator interface for the process.
CONSUMER PRODUCTS SECTOR
We have proven ourselves to be both innovative and schedule cognizant. Our solutions are cost aggressive, immediately implementable, and easily adaptable to accept new process demands. We provide conceptual design for client reviews, along with appropriation grade cost estimates to assist in evaluation of the viability of the project.
Our solutions for the design and implementation of a PLC/PC based platform to replace the legacy DCS systems has been designed to become the global standard. It has been installed in nine plants in nine different countries. A secondary development to this platform was adding a bar code based control system to track raw material usage and final product packaging.
Our main objective is to ensure consistent product quality, as well as efficient, reliable and rapid new product launch capability across all global manufacturing sites. This includes provisions for best-in-class strategies for material handling, processing equipment and controls, CIP/SIP systems and procedures.
Much of the services provided by JNE Automation for this sector applied to building life services. This included air quality systems by controlling access to production rooms via security pass cards and air locks, emergency ventilation/containment controls, and suitable lab air filtration sensing analyzers. We have also provided automated production of single batch tablet manufacturing, implementing the ISA-SP88 guidelines for batch control. We also provided product process production validation services for compliance to CFR21 Part II of the FDA regulations.
